Simply put, Tech Talks are a free technology workshop. Utilizing a 1 to 1 mentor to mentee ratio, we strive to demystify technology in a casual environment. Our mentors are local college students who are passionate and knowledgable about technology. We cater to older adults but welcome people of any age. We want to make use of a light environment and make simple the confusing aspects of daily technology.
Learning is hard. Learning in a brand new, state of the art, $29 million dollar building is still hard...but it feels a little different.
Ursinus College recently unveiled a 42,500 square foot Innovation and Discovery Center (IDC).
"The IDC is designed with collaboration in mind. Non-programmed open spaces with floor-to-ceiling whiteboards, flexible seating and laboratory spaces act as “idea labs” that incorporate advanced functionality for teaching and student-faculty research."
There may not be a more perfect environment to collaborate and demystify technology in all of Montgomery County. Come see what we're all about and enjoy Ursinus College's newest building.
